AMD are running 7nm chips, Intel are still on 14nm… Intel chips throttle in performance laptops far before they are able to keep up with the Ryzen chips when under heavy use. If you want a laptop to work as a genuine desktop replacement, AMD is the only option in my opinion. Apple have even resorted to dropping Intel!

The only issue is that current laptops with the Ryzen chips don’t have access to the full range RTX chips as manufactures never assumed the Ryzen chips would be quite so powerful. A year from now should be very interesting… I’d love to see Razor get their hands on a Ryzen 9 for example.
Point me in the direction of another laptop that could keep up for similar money… There’s a challenge!
